Hello!  My name is Kimberly Shepard and I live in a very small town in the Northwestern part of PA.  

As parents, we all know that if it ever came to the decision of children or job, our children would come first.  Well, this is where I was in May of 2005.  Since my job was eliminated, I was given a second shift job.  Knowing I would not be able to keep custody of my children with a second shift job, I quit.  Now I stay home and keep my children with me. 

I was awarded unemployment, so I figured I would take it easy for a little while and spend some quality time with my kids, because I had missed so much of their younger years working third shift for 8 years.   When I started to look for a job, I realized that it was not going to be easy finding a job.

In November of 2006, I started searching the internet for home-based businesses.  This is how I stumbled across our candle company. 

I e-mailed for more information, in which I received within a day or so.  I was very skeptical of home businesses because so many of them want so much money down without getting anything in return.  I e-mailed and asked to have some information sent to me. 

The day I received the envelope in the mail was the day I decided this was the business for me! 

WHY, because I love candles and why not sell something I loved to buy for myself!  The envelope had some scent sample packs inside and the smell was AMAZING!  Never before had I smelled a candle scent that smelled so good!  
Good enough to EAT!! 
(One was Hot Apple Pie)

How could I go wrong selling candles?   Candles are a billion dollar industry each year!  This company works with its distributors, because without the distributors, the candles would not sell!  This is a "family" business!  There is no need to educate consumers, because everyone has burned a candle once or twice in their lifetime.  The only thing I would need to do is "get the product out to customers!" 

There are over 80 scents to choose from, and a new scent is developed and added to the inventory every month.   They are cleaner burning which means "very little soot"!  In my opinion, the best thing about this candle is it burns evenly from top to bottom and the scent is as strong at the end as first light.  Also, if it spills, just clean it up with warm, soapy water!
This is a legitimate home business, not a get-rich-quick scam!  Work when you want!  Stop to go to your kids’ school play, baseball game, or cheerleading competition.  Work for your family, NOT for a boss that does not care about your family!

What you put in to your business is what you get out of it!  It is your destiny!
